A Stat is Born: Golf's New Way to Measure Putting
I read this article in Saturday’s Globe and Mail but appears to be originally published in the WSJ. An interesting piece explaining how the PGA Tour will make use of laser measuring technology and a statistical method created by MIT to measure and rank putting ability on the Tour.
No need for laser measuring and advanced statistics for measuring my putting ability. A three putt is a three put with our or without a laser. Going to be working on that this season.
